At just 4 months old this adorable pup endured an unthinkable attack.  Look at him now.

The SPCA of Southwest Michigan has taken amazing care of Lazarus for the last 2 months.  It's been a rough road to recovery according to WWMT,

When they arrived they found Lazarus with three slash wounds to the neck that had cut all the way through the muscle and another gash on his leg. After a miraculous surgery, the young pit bull was on his way to recovery.  During the recovery process due to a weakened immune system, Lazarus contracted parvo, which can be life-threatening. Again the pup persevered and is preparing to find his 'fur'ever home.

Katie Timber of the SPCA of Southwest Michigan brought this love bug into the studio Thursday Morning.  He is a very lovable and very playful baby which is now available for adoption.  Check out the video below.

You can see him in person at the In The Ruff Golf Outing on Monday, August 20th.  Get more info on this fun event that raises thousands of dollars for this amazing no kill shelter by clicking here.
