Western Michigan University Actress Needs Your Vote in ‘Give Her a Chance’ Contest

Last year I had the pleasure of working with Western Michigan student Colleen Beilman in the Civic's production of Lend Me a Tenor. She played the ingenue.  I played the starlet.  We ran around stage in lingerie slamming doors and yelling at men.

Good times.

Now Colleen needs you to rock your vote! She's posted an audition video for a contest called "Give a Girl Her Chance." If she gets enough votes, she gets a shot at auditioning for the Off-Broadway show "Daddy Long Legs".

Colleen Beilman is a junior in the musical theatre program at Western Michigan University.  She has played Rosa Bud in The Mystery of Edwin Drood (WMU) and Maggie in Lend Me a Tenor at the Civic! Having performed regionally, she hopes to perform on Broadway one day.
