Online dating can be scary and Kalamazoo agrees.

Yesterday, Heather McGregor received a message on Tinder, where a guy informed her that she was not pretty as her picture but to give him a call. That comment cut deep and caused us to ask the question, what is worst experience that other women have had with online dating.

Here are the horror stories we heard...

NOT WHAT HE SEEMS TO BE

Elise a nurse from Kalamazoo...

"I meet a man on line and decided to join him for a cup of coffee. When I arrived and saw him I  was actually concerned for his health. He was older then my father, and missing teeth; I am not a shallow person, I was just shocked that he was not honest about his age. Needless to say, we didn't go out again and my son said I was 'Catfished'."

DINE AND DASH

Christine from Kalamazoo...

"I am extremely careful with on line dating, and I finally decided to meet a gentlemen  after weeks of phone calls and texting. We meet at Applebee's for dinner and after he finished eating he excused himself to the bathroom and LEFT!!!!"

LIES

Anastasia from Battle Creek...

"I meet a man on line and planned a dinner date with him. Putting my safety first, I had two of my friends at the restaurant at another table for the date. When I arrived, the restaurant was a dump and after talking with him I discovered everything he said about himself was a lie. When leaving the restaurant, my friends said that what they overhead was the most awkward date...EVER!

WEIRDO

Megan from Kalamazoo...

"I accepted a date from a gentlemen, and met up with him at a local Taco Bell. When he showed up, he was not wearing shoes and garbage fell out of his car when he opened the door...the date ended at that point!"

CREEP

Linsey from Marshall...

"I meet a guy online who lived out of town, he drove in and meet me at the mall. We walked around and he didn't talk until he asked me back to his hotel...that ended the date!"
