The City of Kalamazoo's annual Safe Halloween celebration is set for Saturday, October 24th from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM in Bronson Park.

This year’s event will feature a variety of fall and Halloween activities including derby racing, face painting, pumpkin decorating, an inflatable bouncer, pumpkin bowling, sack races, a magician, and individual and family costume contests. There will be plenty of candy to fill Halloween bags, and complementary cider and Sweetwater’s donut holes will be provided while supplies last.

“Safe Halloween is a great opportunity for families to get outside together, enjoy one of Kalamazoo’s great parks, and participate in a wonderful family event loaded with fun activities and entertainment,” said City of Kalamazoo Parks and Recreation Director, Sean Fletcher.

Although primarily geared towards families with children, Safe Halloween it is open to the entire community..
