Kalamazoo’s Nick Nieboer Is Going To The Boston Marathon

As of Friday afternoon the most inspirational 20-year old you will ever meet is one step closer to an astonishing goal.

In case you missed the huge party to help raise money to send Nick Nieboer to the Boston Marathon.  You missed tons of food, prizes, WWMT News Channel 3 and Fox 17 were there...and oh yeah, Planet Fitness helped Nick raise money to get to the Boston Marathon.

Correction: earlier we reported that Nick had raised the money to get to the Boston Marathon.  The previous GoFundMe was for his cycle.  He still has a ways to go for the Boston Marathon expenses.  Click here for the GoFundMe page if you want to help.

That wasn't the only surprise of the day.  Planet Fitness brought in a brand new, special piece of equipment for Nick's training.  He lit up like a Christmas tree.

I am not only inspired by the drive of this young Kalamazoo guy.  But also, his family and the people of Planet Fitness who have done incredible things to support Nick's passion.    Just, WOW!
