Tomorrow is Arbor Day and to commemorate the day in Kalamazoo the City is planning to plant ten trees through out the City.

According to the City's website, the City and Western Michigan University will plant ten trees around the City of Kalamazoo.

The planting will begin at 10 a.m. near the corner of Stanwood and West Michigan Ave. on the campus of Western Michigan University.   At Noon, trees will be planted at Hayes Park, near Factory Street and Miller Road.

Four trees are set to be planted at Crane Park at 2 p.m.   Volunteers are welcome and encouraged to attend and assists in the planting at the locations.
