You aren't crazy, there was a magnitude 4.2 earthquake felt in Kalamazoo.

It was exactly 12:20 p.m., I was in the studio recording, and I felt the building start to shake.  At first I thought I was imagining it, but then I took my headphones off, stood up and it felt like the building was going to fall over.  I thought a car had run into the building, or maybe aliens had finally decided to take over (I have a wild imagination) but realized I had just experienced my first earthquake.  My good friends from back home are visiting so I texted them and they said it felt like my apartment building was going to collapse.  When I got home, they weren't here so I texted them and asked them where they were and they joked, "crushed under some beams."  They were out walking the dogs and said that everyone around was asking if they felt it.  My boss Dana texted me and said that earthquakes in Michigan are very rare so I'm going to do some research and will have more details soon.

The USGS registered it as a 4.2 earthquake centered near Galesburg.
