Kalamazoo Co. Dental Clinic Closing, Will Transition Into Family Health Center

Kalamazoo County says it will be closing the Kalamazoo County Dental Clinic on December 2nd, and will transition its work and patients to the Family Health Center early next year.

The transition period may be a little confusing, as the Family Health Center will continue with dental care work through December while construction work at their main facility at 117 West Patterson continues. The current location of the Kalamazoo County Dental Clinic is on 3299 Gull Road on the Nazareth Campus.

Another transition matter that needs to be addressed is patient health records. They will continue to be under Kalamazoo County Health Department control until patiens request they be transferred, to either the Family Health Center or another dentist.
