He was trying to flirt with another celebrity.  Doesn't he have a girlfriend?!

Justin Bieber tried to flirt with Ariana Grande on Instagram, and got SHUT DOWN.  He liked two of her videos, then commented, "Damn Ariana u look so good."  But Ariana posted two comments that seem like they were directed at him.  First she said, quote, "lol no."  Then she said, quote, "not today Satan!!!!!!  GTG finish this music & live my cute, drama-free life!"   I've never heard anyone describe their life as being "cute" but whatever.  Millenials -_-
