Never in my life have I been so happy to see a Monday.

Today, Katie Timber from the SPCA of Southwest Michigan stopped by for a visit and brought along this ball of energy named Monday.

Monday is estimated to be about 2 years old. She's one of those cats that gets alone with everyone. Dogs, cats, people, kids. She's the perfect family pet. Monday couldn't wait to get out of her carrier, which I can't blame her, and immediately wanted to roam the studio. Unfortunately, due to a previous event that I was not a part of involving a cat finding a nook that led to the basement ceiling, we can no longer allow kitties to roam.

Monday is energetic, curious, and has the BEST purr. She didn't stop purring the entire time I held her even though she wanted to get down to explore.

She's available right now for adoption along with plenty of other cats who are all looking for their forever home.

Can't adopt? Opportunities are available for fostering and the SPCA of SW Michigan is always looking for volunteers. As well, you can always donate! Here's a list of things that are always in need:

  • Bleach
  • Dish soap
  • All purpose, antibacterial cleaners
  • Hand sanitizer
  • Clumping Cat Litter
  • Pet toys
  • Cat and Dog food

And lots of other things. The full list can be found here.

Katie Timber visits us every Thursday with a new dog or cat that is looking for their forever home. Listen live at 7:35 and watch on Facebook next Thursday to see if our featured pet is the right fit for you!
