After the terrible events that took place around Kalamazoo over the weekend, this day couldn't come at a more perfect time! I am more a beer guy and not a mixed drink guy, but every once and a while I'll partake in a margarita. Usually when the weather is nice. I am also an on the rocks margarita person. I don't like the frozen slushy kind.

Now you might be asking yourself, why is National Margarita Day in the winter? Well because in the dark gloomy days of the year, everyone needs a little ray of sunshine. What better way to imagine yourself in the sun, laying on the beach than with a margarita!

The one place I really enjoyed a margarita around Kalamazoo was at La Pinata, right at the corner of West Main and Drake.
