Just days after the final episode of Surviving R. Kelly aired, The Blast has reported that the R&B star might be attempting to leave the country. And he's believed to be taking the girls in his alleged sex cult with him.

According to sources, there are rumors going around that the 50-year-old has plans to flee the United States before prosecutors are able to charge him with a crime, and Africa is one of the destinations he may be looking to seek solace.

Families of the women in the star's sex cult are worried that if he's able to take their daughters out of the country they may never hear from them again, and hope authorities arrest the singer as soon as possible to freeze his passport.

Just yesterday (January 8), it was reported that the Fulton County District Attorney's Office in Georgia launched a criminal investigation against R. Kelly following the accusations made against him in the docuseries. Investigators are said to be reaching out to survivors who participated in the Lifetime show, which tells the harrowing tale of seven women who endured sexual abuse at the hands of the singer spanning over two decades.
