Is 103.3 KFR Off The Air?

Why do you hear static and how can you listen to 103.3 KFR when this kind of thing happens? I have answers below.

This morning we woke up to a surpising 2.5 inches of snow on the ground. Apparently, we weren't the only ones not ready for this weather in April. The KFR tower decided to take a break.

Last Wednesday Night the KFR tower was struck by lightening. My best guess is that this cold and moist weather may have broken the temporary fix from the lightening strike. I'm sure it has something to do with the flux capacitor. A team of engineers are working on the problem right now. Hopefully, we'll be back on-air VERY soon.
