David Young left Indiana in 2009 to help the people in the Lower 9th Ward of New Orleans.  What he accomplished is amazing.

Urban Farmer, David Young came to New Orleans because of a "calling from God," according to this Rob Greenfield YouTube Video,

He has started gardens on 30 abandoned lots leftover from Hurricane Katrina. The nearest grocery store is a 3.5 miles away. He provides his produce for free or at low cost to people in most need in the community.

That by itself it impressive.  But it doesn't end there.  Check out the video below.

It's both impressive and inspiring to see this man feeding his community.  Not to mention the positive impact he is having on the environment.
