How We Think We Look Isn’t How People See Us

Dove has posted a video on-line proving that women think of themselves in a negative way.

Dove had women come into a room with a forensic composite drawer (one of those guys who draws people for the police based on witness descriptions). The artist and the women didn't see each other while he asked the women to describe their looks. The artists drew as the women talked about their physical features. Well, there's a twist! Watch and see!

I totally agree that we, as women, are way too harsh on ourselves, and we really need to start ignoring what TV and magazines advertise as "beautiful."

I actually had tears in my eyes watching this video. We need to be kinder to ourselves.
