BATTLE CREEK, MI  April 16, 2015:  A fundraising opportunity benefiting Binder Park Zoo is coming up on April 26th at 2:00pm  hosted by Dr. Pamela Buitendorp-Drew. For over 25 years, Dr. Buitendorp-Drew and her late husband Dr. Edward Drew, have held annual fundraising events to benefit animals, nature, and wildlife conservation. This year’s fundraiser, to benefit the Zoo, will be held on April 26, 2015 in Saugatuck. Tickets are $50 and include dinner, wine, and entertainment for the evening. All of the proceeds benefit Binder Park Zoo. Tickets can be purchased at www.binderparkzoo.org/saugatuck.

“This will be the second fundraising event hosted by the Drew family and we are honored to be chosen as the recipients of their generous gift,” states Kari Parker, Binder Park Zoo Marketing Manager.

Binder Park Zoo is a fully self-supported nonprofit organization and depends on general gate admission, events and donations to maintain the park, as well as to feed and care for the over 600 animals that live at the Zoo.

“The Drew’s generous support and their donation will go a long way in ensuring that Binder Park Zoo is able to continue its conservation efforts to protect wildlife,” states Parker.

The event will take place at the Garden House, home of Dr. Buitendorp-Drew in Saugatuck, Michigan. Entertainment for the evening will be vocalist and entertainer Russell Joel Brown, from the The Lion KingThe Lion King by Disney is the largest grossing Broadway production.
