Heather McGregor Describes her First Mammogram by Drawing a Picture and It’s Hilarious

If you had to draw a picture of what your mammogram x-ray, what would it look like?

Most women wait until they are 50-years-old to get their first mammogram but, some women get screened at age 45.  If the results come back normal at age 45, then you can wait until age 50 before getting another.

Heather McGregor decided to get hers done early and I wanted to hear all about it.  She said what most women say after their first mammogram; that it is a little uncomfortable and weird.

A mammogram is an x-ray picture of the breast. It can be used to check for breast cancer in women who have no signs or symptoms of the disease. It can also be used if you have a lump or other sign of breast cancer. - cancer.org

What I found most interesting, was the fact that she got to see her x-ray afterwards.  She thought it was cool enough to draw me a picture... :P
