Have You Seen This Incredible Local Group?

Did I mention they are all WMU students?

I met up with some friends at Arcadia last night and was pleasantly surprised by the local group Blarney Castle.  They are a Celtic band comprised of all WMU students.   EJ Schubkegel is the girl playing the flute and she also has a killer voice.  I will definitely see them again!  Did I mention I used to play the flute?  :P ...for real though.

Named after the famous Irish castle, the Kalamazoo band Blarney Castle has been making a splash in Southwest Michigan since their origin in early 2015. Comprised of six music students from Western Michigan University, Blarney Castle combines the technicality of Western classicism with the rich folk music heritages of Ireland and Scotland and a progressive energy that appeals to audiences of all ages.
