Well we could only avoid it for so long until we finally had to stare that dreadest frost in the eyes again this year. The National Weather Service forecasters expect Michigan's first  frost to appear later tonight and carrying over into early tomorrow morning in many parts of the Upper Peninsula and the northern Lower Peninsula. Cities that could be affected, according to Freep, are Cadillac, Gaylord, Roscommon, and West Branch. Affected area could get down to the Mid- 30's.

Meteorologist Don Rolfson of the weather service in Marquette actually ellaborated on how this first frost is coming later than usuall:

This is probably pretty typical, maybe a little bit on the late side," he said. "(We) usually see it the first half of September.

So if you're one of the unfortunate ones who have to deal with this first frost, just know our thoughts are with you. Bundle up out there!
