A restaurant industry website says a new eatery is opening in Los Angeles in March that will feature chocolate fried chicken. Not chicken dipped in chocolate, but chocolate mixed into the batter.

A sign of the times is the founder's quote of about it. "It’s got the ‘crack factor’ I look for in a great restaurant brand.”

Does this get you all excited? Probably hard to say until you try it once, but I have to tell you I love Chicken and Waffles, so this may be a variation of that delicacy.
