Troop 265 recovered their trailer that contained all of their camping gear, but when they opened it, the trailer was empty.

Mlive.com first reported the theft of the trailer and what it contained back on February 1st...

Tents, back packs, sleeping bags, dining flies-- all of it was stored in the light gray utility trailer stolen from the Scoutmaster's driveway on N Avenue Tuesday sometime between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. while he and his wife were at work.

"A neighbor saw the trailer going down the street being pulled by a white or light gray pickup truck,"

In the last 6 days the trailer was found at the intersection of 42nd street and V ave. When the trailer was opened up it was reveled that the trailer was empty. Everything was taken including the plywood decking off the steel shelf frames.

The Police are now asking for the community to keep their eyes open when at garage sales or flee markets where the hoodlums might take the equipment to sell. All of the troops items are marked as "TROOP 265". If you know of anything or see anything please contact the authorities right away.
