Galesburg Meat Company to Reopen Almost One Year After Fire

A lightning strike ignited a fire that resulted in a total loss at Galesburg Meat Company in July of 2016. Now, rebuilding is almost complete.

Small businesses can be hit hardest when catastrophe strikes, that's why it is nice to see Galesburg Meat Company preparing to open up shop once again after a devastating fire.

The butchers have been working out of their catering building next door and framing began on the new building in December of 2016; as you can see, it is nearly complete.
