Former Cancer Patient To Donate Toys To Kids At Helen Devos

During this season of giving it takes a great person to step up and bring happiness to children who are going through the battle of their life. It continues to blow me away the strength and heart these kids have. One kid, 8 year-old Dawson Babiak will be once again delivering gifts for kids who are at Helen Devos, according to Fox 17. This will be the fourth year in a row doing this, and it makes it even more special because he once was a patient at Helen Devos Children's Hospital in Grand Rapids.

Babiak was diagnosed with leukemia three years ago and knows being sick during the holidays is something that isn't easy, so him and his family said lifting the spirits of kids by bringing in toys for them was important to him. Last year’s donations were one of the largest the hospital has ever seen, so let's hope Dawson can out-do last years numbers.
