It was a scary moment when a hood fire closed down Food Dance in Downtown Kalamazoo in late September, but it looks like they are back in business and throwing a massive Grand Re-Opening party. As announced on their event page:

Come celebrate with us at our Grand Re-Opening Event - Gather and Graze. After 8 weeks of renovations following a hood fire, we want to welcome you back into our "home”, and have a party! Enjoy a spread of hors-d'oeuvres, FD signature items, old favorites, and new desserts and pastries from our new Bakery and Pastry Chef Mj. Our bar will feature beer, wine and specialty cocktails to purchase. The Food Dance Market will be filled with all the favorites and more for you to take home and savor. Founder Julie Stanley, Chef Brad McKenzie and our team will be around to chat and even give a tour of our kitchen and bakery. As you mingle around, do not miss the chance to enter to win prizes.
Tickets are $25 per person and are available here. Restaurant and Market hours will resume as normal on Friday, November 30th at 7 am with Breakfast, Lunch, and then Dinner.
