When you see a facebook couple account what's the first thought that runs through your mind?

The first thought that comes to my mind is, "somebody did something bad."  Most of Southwest Michigan agrees.  We asked the question on Facebook, Twitter and on-air: "We’re talking about people that have couple accounts on Facebook.  I have a theory on why they exist. What do you think?"  Here are some of your answers.

On Facebook Courtney Wertz commented,

"The innocent theory is the husband doesn’t do social media, so the wife signs up using both names in order for his family members can connect

My other theory is that someone got caught fooling around and the partner wants to keep tabs on what the other one is doing. Or someone just have trust issues in general. Kinda like how Pence won’t go anywhere with a woman if Mother isn’t there."

Wendi McComb had a different take,

Some people have legit reasons. I have a friend that is a teacher. She shares account with husband under his name. She does not want any social media in her name because she is teaching high school students.

Many other simply commented "Trust Issues" and "Somebody Cheated."

Why do you think people have couple accounts on Facebook?  Let us know in the comments.
