Additional Information

Michigan’s finest roller derby teams are on an arena tour this year, making stops at Kellogg Arena in Battle Creek (Oct. 4-5, 2014) and at Kalamazoo’s Wings Stadium (Oct. 11-12). The first weekend will be the Michigan D2 playoffs, and the Kalamazoo event will feature the State Championship and an All-Star Showcase of bonus games!

Over the first two weekends of October, we will be building up to the biggest tournament ever held in the state by first opening with our most exciting Division 2 bracket yet!

Ten teams, including the U.P.’s first (Dead River from Marquette) face off in Battle Creek at Kellogg Arena for the Rumble Cup and title of Michigan Division 2 Champions. 2014’s Division 2 sees plenty of new talent on the rise. Central Michigan Mayhem (Mt. Pleasant) and the Battle Creek Cereal Killers also make their debut this season and Flint returns rebuilt as does the Grand Raggidy Attack. The C teams from Lansing Vixens and Ann Arbor Derby Dimes see their first action in the postseason, now that their more veteran teams have moved up competitively. Rounding out the action are No. 1 seed Bath City (Shelby Township).

Charity Raffles benefitting Leukemia Lymphoma Society will be running both days during the event!
