Looking for more winter running events? Consider the One One Run!

This 2.2 or 4.4 mile run/walk takes place on Jan. 1 at Spring Valley Park (2600 Mt. Olivet, ) in Kalamazoo. Runners will start at 1 p.m.; walkers and those with strollers and dogs will start at 1:15 p.m.

This is one of the most historic runs in Kalamazoo; this 31-year tradition is home to a 2.2 mile or 4.4 mile walk/run around Spring Valley Park. Finish in the big tent filled with food, music and fun! Gazelle's will give away tons of prizes, and you may even win the coveted grand prize: Charlie Miller’s Chainsaw!

The goal for the One One Run is always the same: Get outside and start the year moving with family and friends while raising money for an important organization: Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Kalamazoo.
