Kelly’s Camp Kesem Campaign

Hello! My name is Kelly Carr and I am a graduate of Hackett Catholic Central in Kalamazoo and currently attend the University of Notre Dame. I am involved in a club on campus called Camp Kesem. It is a free, week-long summer camp for kids in the South Bend area with at least one parent who is battling/won the battle/lost the battle with cancer. It is one week of the summer when these kids get to be simply that - kids - without having to worry about their parent’s illness and how it is affecting their lives. This organization has very quickly become near and dear to my heart (for personal reasons), and I would love to be able to be a counsellor at camp this summer of 2016.

One requirement of the organization is that each member must raise $500 by the end of the year, as it is free for the campers. I have set up a donation page (link below) for anyone who wishes to donate. It would really mean a lot to me if I were able to reach my goal by the end of the year. Every little bit helps! I was only able to donate a meager $10, but now I only need $490 more!

If you are unable to donate at this time for any reason, never fear! It’s all good! There are plenty of other ways to help me, including sharing my donation page. I would greatly appreciate it if you share the link on Facebook or other forms of social media or spread the word elsewhere to help me reach my goal, whether you donate or not.
