Due To High Winds, Roof Sit Kickoff Dinner Moved Indoors Tonight
The annual dinner to kickoff RoofSit 2017 has been moved indoors to another location. The kickoff dinner catered this year by Mangia Mangia, has been moved to the Kalamazoo Innovative Learning Center at 3333 South Westnedge (right by the Westnedge Pedestrian Bridge). Parking is in the rear and you go through the back entrance to the gym. Doors will open to the public at 5:45, dinner will be served from 6:15 to 7:15. There will be still be a live and silent auction.

“Bid for the Top of the Roof | Dinner or Breakfast?”
How it works is, radio listeners will be able to bid or pledge money for either dinner or breakfast with either Tess or Heather. And depending on who raises the most money, the winner gets dinner and the runner up gets breakfast. And the other has to SERVE the food. It’s going to be like a “china and linen” type of meal. Bidding starts Thursday by calling 269-488-7580. It’s a fundraiser, and whether it is breakfast on the roof or dinner on the Roof, Heather and I will be there on the roof to have fun, raise money, and support our children.

Stop by the Roof Sit site between May 18-20: Located on the corner of Westnedge and Milham in Portage, in front of Old Navy and Kohl’s. Just pull up and volunteers will be there to take your donation!
