The Trumbull Plex in Detroit has always been a very unique place which is regularly occupied by a fluctuating group of resident collective members, as well as like-minded short-term traveling artists, musicians, and activists. They've always been very outspoken on being anti-government/establishment since members of the collective established a nonprofit corporation and purchased the property back in 1993. Since then the venue has been host to performances, musical shows, a community green-space for potlucks, herb walks, and arts based events.

Today, they posted a video which appears to be taken on the property of a group of people burning the American Flag with the headline:

"How to celebrate a nation built on slavery and oppression and maintained by fascism // no borders no masters."

Do you think the Trumbull Plex took it to far or do you agree with their anti-government message that the flag should not be idolized because of the bloodshed and oppression that has come from this country?
