The Detroit Lions will likely be without their veteran starting center when they travel to Green Bay this Sunday with the NFC North Division title on the line.

Dominic Raiola was suspended by the NFL for one game on Monday, according to ESPN, one day after he was caught on camera apparently stomping a Chicago Bears defensive lineman's ankle.

Raiola will have the opportunity to appeal the league's decision, but the process will be expedited, according to ESPN. In his stead the Lions would likely start Travis Swanson, a rookie out of Arkansas.

A former Nebraska Cornhusker, the 35-year-old Raiola is in his 14th NFL season, all with the Lions.
