David Bowie Criticizes MTV

"Midwest kids are scared to death of Prince" says Mark Goodman of MTV.

When David Bowie asks Mark Goodman why MTV doesn't play black artists back in 1983, his response is crap.

As a kid from the Midwest, I was and still am a hard core Prince fan.  In fact, loved urban and hip hop.  To say the Midwest would be scared to death of Prince and other black artist on MTV is insane.

Kudos to David Bowie.  I love seeing white artists take a stand for black artists like that.

One of the many reason David Bowie will be missed!
