Dave Benson’s 2014 Top 5: TV

This list will get a lot of you going, but let me preface this with, I don't watch a lot of television anymore, and a lot of TV shows that are very good are not available to everyone. In other words, I'm not made out of money.So with apologies to Games of Thrones, Mad Men, Walking Dead, Orange in the New Black, True Detective and several others, which I don't have time for or access to, or just don't care for, here's my top 5 for 2014.

1. House of Cards, Netflix. Kevin Spacey is brilliant.

2. Big Bang Theory. CBS. Still the only sitcom I watch regularly

3. Dan Patrick Show, NBCSN. I watch every morning. Best talk show. Period.

4. Veep, HBO. Only saw a few episodes during a free preview of HBO, but this is really good satire.

5. Breaking Bad, AMC. Bryan Cranston. 'nuff said.
