Never say never. Everyone thought Gander Mountain was gone forever. Think again.The Detroit Free-Press reports a bankruptcy court chose Camp World Holdings to buyout the bankrupt company and a big chunk of it's stores. Eight of those stores are in Michigan, and two are in SW Michigan. The Kalamazoo and Coldwater stores will be back from the dead. Two stores in Metro Grand Rapids are not on the list of stores reopening, at this time.

The store will comeback with a new name, Gander Outdoors.

The company filed for bankruptcy early in 2017, citing online competition, but still has a loyal following.

The story quotes the Camp World's CEO, Marcus Lemonis, as saying he hopes to re-open about 70 locations out of 126 that were closed, according to WOOD-TV, depending on how lease negotiations progress.

Lemonis is the star of CNBC’s “The Profit.
