The List

Four foods to avoid for a flat tummy.

It’s so frustrating.  You work out, take your vitamins, get sleep, and yet you still have that little bulge in the tummy.  How do you flatten that out?  Just by avoiding these four foods.

  1.  Cruciferous Vegetables — The biggest stomach puffers are broccoli, cauliflower, brussels sprouts and kale.  Eat small servings.
  2. Salty processed products — If you get it from a bag or box it’s probably loaded with salt which leads to water retention.
  3. Soda — The bubbles in soda are basically air pockets puffing up your stomach.  Stick with water.
  4. Artificial sweeteners and diet foods — Fake foods leave you feeling gassy and puffy.  If you can’t recognize the ingredient (like sucralose), then stay away and stick with the real stuff.
