Cheap Tacky Showblog – Monday
The Morning After…the Oscars. Seeing reviews of the event last night saying it was boring and vanilla. Well, those folks can’t have it both ways. Last year those same critics crucified Seth McFarlane for being too…much. Well, this year you got a lot less. I thought Ellen’s opening monologue was actually pretty funny, though she’s so low key that it takes a few seconds to realize her remarks are pretty sharp and funny.
The stuff in the crowd? If Robin Williams were doing it, then yes, more, please. But Ellen is not Robin Williams in his hey day. And I know many will disagree with me on this, but you wouldn’t have to snub dead folks if you didn’t order pizza.
You can’t make this stuff up
You do too much at once — If you start and stop projects all day, you’re less likely to control yourself around food, according to a study.
You travel a lot for work — If you’re gone 20 nights a month for work, you’re 92% more likely to gain weight.
