Cheap Tacky ShowBlog – Hockey Withdrawal

I feel drained today. Like a lot of people, I have a passion for a particular team. In my case, it's the Chicago Blackhawks.

While darn near all of Stanley Cup playoff series this year have been exciting, my boys played in a 7 round heavyweight match pitting the last two Cup winners. And last night, in overtime, they lost. You mentally prepare yourself for it, but still I was on the edge of my seat for most of the game. What a roller coaster ride.

It was great fun, but I feel drained. And empty. I've been watching hockey darn near every night for two months, and now, we're done. Ouch.
