The Community Hanukkah Celebration will take in Bronson Park on Sunday December 2nd from 4 pm to 6 pm. Mlive reported that the Kalamazoo-area Jewish community will mark the start of Hanukkah by lighting a menorah in Bronson Park. How beautiful will that be, but that is not all that is taking place.
The event will include incredible entertainment  for all! The event kicks of at the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts with a performance by Noah Aronson. If you are not familiar with Noah, here is a taste of what he is all about...
After earning a degree in Jazz Composition and Piano from Berklee College of Music, he held the position of Composer-in-Residence at Temple Beth Elohim in Wellesley, MA where he produced 4 albums of Jewish communal music.
I that were not enough a latke bar will be available for people to take part of  courtesy of the Congregation of Moses Men's Club! I was not aware of this but the is annual event put on by the Jewish Federation of Kalamazoo and Southwest Michigan. I simply can not think of a better way to spend a Sunday afternoon!
