After the Western Michigan Broncos sat idle this week, the Associated Press and Amway/USA Today Coaches poll was very kind to them in the latest polls.

The Broncos make their way up three spots in both polls, sitting at 17th in the AP poll and 18th in the Coaches poll. Western was off since their 45-31 victory over the Eastern Michigan Eagles on October 22nd.

They will play the next two Tuesday nights on the road, beginning tomorrow when the Broncos "row" down to Muncie, Indiana, take on the Ball State Cardinals. The Cardinals have lost three of their last four games, including a 35-25 defeat to the Akron Zips. With a 4-4 overall record, their 1-3 Mid-American Conference record has Ball State in last place in the West Division.

The Broncos are 8-0 on the season and 4-0 in the MAC. A win tomorrow night will give the Broncos their best start in the Western Michigan football history. Dating back to last season, the Broncos have won 10 straight games - the third longest winning streak in the nation.

Tuesday night's game will be broadcast on ESPN2 at 8pm from Scheumann Stadium in Muncie.
