The event is "Climb for the Lions", from 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. It's a chance to make your own personal "Climb for the Lions" on Airway Fun Center's new Ropes Course. The event is $10/person with $5 of every ticket sold going directly to support a new lion exhibit at Binder Park Zoo! Pre-register at www.binderparkzoo.org/lions.

103.3 KFR's Dave Benson will be at Airway Lanes Wednesday midday as the fun begins.

The party will be in honor of Yasmin Pirbhai, a determined 11-year-old who has set out to help Binder Park Zoo raise money for their future lion exhibit. Yasmin has raised a remarkable $30,000 to go towards this new exhibit and Airway Fun Center is throwing a party to celebrate her accomplishments. As part of her campaign to raise money for the Zoo, she set a goal for herself to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro. Yasmin successfully made her climb and reached the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro in early July and now it's time to celebrate! Come out to Airway Lanes on July 29 and make your own "Climb for the Lions" with Yasmin, Zoo staff and a few local celebrities on the Airway Fun Center Ropes Course.
