Beer Exchange Gets National Recognition

The Chive came up with a list of "The Coolest Themed Bars Around America," and the Kalamazoo Beer Exchange came in at No. 1!

And it's not the first time it's been the No. 1 bar. The Beer Exchange, also known to locals as "KBE" or "the exchange," was named the No. 1 Bar in Michigan by RateBeer.com in 2013 and 2014.

I remember the first time going to the Beer Exchange, watching the prices of beer change as the market crashed, similar to NASDAQ...but for beer.

After hearing the sirens and the market crash, I bought a beer for $1.50. How awesome is that?

Not only does the Beer Exchange have an incredible concept, it has AMAZING food. Try their fajita nachos! It's fried pita chips, real melted cheese, sautéed veggies, salsa, guacamole and sour cream. Seriously, you'll never want ordinary nachos ever again.
