Bad News for Game of Thrones Fans

Haven't we been tortured enough?!

Not only is Season 7 going to be shorter than all the others, we’re also going to have to wait longer for it.  According to Deadline, the show has always started airing in early spring, but Season 7 will be delayed, because 'winter is coming' on the show, so they don't want to film in the summer months.  There's no premiere date yet.

The show's co-creator David Benioff said, "So we kind of pushed everything down the line, so we could get some grim, grey weather even in the sunnier places that we shoot."

So roughly, we're probably looking at a premiere sometime next summer or fall.  There's also no official word on how many episodes there will be, but Benioff recently said the show would end after 13 to 15 more episodes spread out over two seasons.
