Bad Michigan Grammar
There are a couple grammar mistakes that I hear Michiganders make every day. It drives me crazy! Are you guilty of saying…
“these ones” and “those ones?”
If someone were to ask you which gummy bears you like the best, your answer should NOT be:
“I’ll take these ones.”
You can simply say “I’ll take these.”
Don’t get me wrong. I’m no college professor. I’m a radio personality. In fact, I’m terrified at the number of grammatical errors I may be making in this very sentence. However, this “these ones” issue is nails on a chalk board to me.
Am I alone?
