A House Is Being Relocated This Month; Morning Traffic Imminent

Morning drivers around 9 a.m. may have to deal with a different type of obstruction in the road soon besides the snowstorm that is coming our way this weekend.  A house is going to be moved around 9 a.m. the morning of Tuesday, January 29th. The house is going to be moved from Mattawan to Paw Paw. According to the original 'heads up" post:

Tuesday January 29th a house will be moved from Mattawan to Paw Paw. The move will start in Mattawan at approximately 9am, head north on Main Street over the highway, turn left onto Red Arrow, go through downtown Paw Paw and then make a right on Hazen St. This is a slow process that may involve temporarily moving overhead wires and unknown when exactly the house will be in downtown Paw Paw. The police department will be assisting with traffic congestion. To avoid the inevitable traffic congestion, plan an alternate route.

If weather is unfavorable the move will be on an alternate day that week. 

The house pictured is on Main Street in Mattawan Near the I 94 roundabout and could be the house they plan on moving. Those in the area should plan their travel accordingly
