An Alice in Wonderland themed restaurant offers you a chance to attend a Mad Hatter tea party.

Run down the rabbit hole and into an amazing restaurant located in the suburbs of Detroit.

This place is called the Mad Hatter Bistro and it does not disappoint! When you walk into the restaurant, it is like you are following in Alice's footsteps from the famous fairy tale. The eatery has velvet ceilings, large closcks and of course vintage tea cup to sip your poison out of. In fact, Madhatterbistro.com boasts...

Mad Hatter's interior design reflects the story of Alice in Wonderland and the hip sensibilities of the surrounding area while also paying tribute to Birmingham's storied past. The dual-level restaurant offers the choice of dining down the rabbit hole and into Wonderland or dining in a sophisticated, eclectic dining room while watching the Mad Scientists in the art of cooking as it occurs in their open-kitchen. A seasonal outdoor patio is also available from April-November.

But don't take the restaurants word for it, check out what people have reported on yelp.com

Brandie H reported on Yelp.com...

The decor here is the coolest. It feels most like Alice in Wonderland downstairs. It would be wise to make reservations even during the week so you have preference over table choices, as it can fill up quickly.

Emily K posted her thoughts on Yelp.com...

I went here for the first time with my best friend for brunch, and was absolutely amazed. Although the menu isn't extensive, I wolfed my salad down like I hadn't eaten in years. My friend did their "make your own protein bowl" and said it was the most delicious thing she had ever had.

The food is good and the drinks are tasty, and the atmosphere is so adorable especially for an Alice in Wonderland lover like myself

You can enjoy afternoon tea everyday from 11 am to 4 pm but they do recommend that you make reservations. There is a full service bar and a limited menu that includes Rabbit Porchetta and the Mad Queens Chicken.

If you feel like stepping into a dream why not try the Mad Hatter Bistro located at 185 N. Old Woodward Ave in Birmingham, MI.
