With third place secure, and Minnesota-Duluth pretty much in second, the two games this weekend at Lawson this weekend are about one thing: Making a statement. The WMU Broncos and UMD Bulldogs split a weekend series in Duluth early in the season, but as things have played out, both teams have had outstanding seasons. This week, the Bulldogs are ranked third nationally, and the Broncos are 8th. And they could end up playing each other somewhere down the line, whether it's in the NCHC playoffs, or better yet, in the NCAA playoffs. (Frozen Four)

My son, a WMU student, says tickets, though, should not be a problem, as many students are gone for Spring Break.
