#4. The W.K. Kellogg Bird Sanctuary

Jennifer B had this to say in her 5-star review on yelp,

Kellogg Bird Sanctuary has been an all time favorite for as long as I can remember. I love that I am able to now take my child here and make memories with him! I love the addition of the little library outside, I've had fun leaving usually nature books there for anyone and everyone. The trail around the lake is excellent as well. This place is great for young and old alike.

#3. Blackrock Medieval Festival

Interested in an annual Medieval event? According to the Blackrock Medieval Festival Facebook page,

Step back in time with us as the annual tradition of The BlackRock Medieval Fest returns to The Olde World Village again during the last four weekends in July and first weekend in August. We were voted "Best New Event" in Renaissance Magazine. Enjoy fantastic live entertainment, visit a wide variety of amazing vendors for your shopping needs, jousting, some of the best food you may ever eat and of course pubs will be available for those 21 and over. General admission is only $10 at the gate, and ages 12 and under are FREE! Don't forget to "join" our event on facebook. Our gates will open at the hour of 10am and remain so until 6pm on Saturday & Sunday for 5 weeks only, rain or shine! #2. The Barn Theatre

Kristen N of Minneapolis had this to say about the Barn Theatre on yelp,

The Barn Theatre is great entertainment in a very unique setting - literally an old barn! Going here is a great way to support equity actors, many of whom are just getting their start, and it's something that I think most folks would enjoy - esp. if visiting the area and looking for something uniquely West Michigan. Make sure you get tickets midway to the front or closer, though, as the sound system isn't the best for those sitting in the back.
