Hartford Speedway has been a part of the community since the 1950's.  WoodTV 8 recently reported that the family is selling the 42-acre property to care for their son.

#3.  Big Dan's

If you’re looking for apples, cider, pumpkins, hayrides for kids – the Klug family farm was always a place to go.  Now branded as Big Dan’s.  Former Hartford resident and current Townsquaremedia employee, Kyle Willer gave us the heads up on this one.


#4.  The Mansion On The Hill

This legendary mansion that sits at 63680 60th Avenue has been rumoured to not only be haunted but also an Al Capone hideout.  This 10,736 Square Foot mansion has changed ownership quite a few times over the years.  According to Zillow it was last listed at $199,962.

#5.  Highschool Football

The Hartford Indian's varsity football team may be struggling a little bit this year with a 5-4 record.  But that doesn't stop the local football fans from coming out rain or shine to cheer their team on.  Hartford is a football town!
