Traveling around Michigan is getting costlier. $3 a gallon gas has returned to some parts of the state.

A popular Facebook group has a message reporting three gas stations in St Ignace, just north of the Mackinac Bridge have set gas prices at $2.99 on Friday (November 3).

Further comments say gas prices popped to $2.99 in Newaygo, north of Grand Rapids in rural West-Central Michigan.

$2.99 gas has also hit the Central Michigan communities of Mount Pleasant, Alma and Clare according to MichiganGasPrices.
